One day, I decided to try and work on my composition. I took my camera around a small town and started taking photos of things. the goal wasn’t to get the highest quality pictures, but rather to learn how to frame things to look decent.

In my opinion, learning composition is a more important skill than learning the settings on your camera, as it allows you to take good photos no matter what you are taking them on.

The following photos are the results of my attempt. They are arranged in pairs to demonstrate how different angles of each subject can change the look of the image, whether substantial or not. These photos aren’t my favorites, but to me they are an important part of my growth as a photographer.
